Too much power

NSW is the largest state in Australia and goes to the polls to elect a new state government on the 26th. One party is running a twisted advert on television that complains about their own party. Weird. It is suicide if viewers are smart enough to understand what the advertisement actually says.

Australia has several large state governments that are supposed to represent us in the battle against our federal government. The two big parties are Liberal and Labor. When the Liberals have the federal government, state Labor tells us to vote against the Liberals at the state level because voting Liberal would give the one party too much power. Based on that opinion from Labor and the fact that we currently have a Labor federal government, you should not vote Labor at the state level because that would give Labor too much power.

Labor are running a big television advertising campaign reminding us to not give one party too much power. They then say we should not vote Liberal but, based on Labor recommendations, we should vote against the monster power of Labor.

The Greens are the third most popular party in this country and they just blindly give their preferences to Labor. If the Greens are going to blindly follow Labor, they should follow the Labor advice to vote against Labor.

The Greens also have far too much power at the Federal level because their small number of representatives elected at the Federal level hold the balance of power. If you are considering voting for the Greens, follow the Labor advice and do not give the greens too much power.

The Labor party have had 16 years of power in NSW and nothing has improved, instead a lot of things are worse. Labor is running the rail system into the ground. Labor is clogging up residential suburbs with expensive slums and refusing to provide the basic infrastructure needed when population densities increase by 10 or 50 fold. The state is now massively in debt with nothing to show for the money they spent.

The Labor advertising warns you not to vote for anyone who refuses to state policies then they remind us that the Liberal party is the only major party to announce policies. Based on this warning from Labor, you should not vote for Labor because they have not announced a single policy.

Prior to the start of the election campaign, Labor announced the cancellation of a lot of projects that they promised before the previous election. We know that promises and policies announced by the current leaders of the current state Labor government are worthless. If labor wants to be believable, they should toss out their current lineup.

The Labor adverts warn against voting Liberal because the Liberals might sell assets. Labor has already sold assets. It is Labor policy to sell assets. Labor did it first and they really screwed up the deal selling everything way under price plus they keep all their deals secret so nobody can see how we are ripped off. Did you read about the state Labor government selling our mineral assets to China with no public scrutiny? What about their policy of selling our roads to private operators with secret deals to close public roads to force us to use the private toll roads. Based on the advice from Labor to vote against selling state assets, you have to vote against Labor.

The worst thing about the state and federal Labor governments is their policy of running endless hate campaigns. If they actually spoke honestly about anything, people would listen. If they did everything they promised, or even a small percentage of what they promised, they would be believable. Instead they just run hate campaigns. The Labor advertising campaigns makes Labor look like mean spiteful creeps.
