Another Detective Inspector Jon Spicer novel from the series that started with a exciting Killing the Beasts then went to the excellent Shifting Skin. Savage Moon started with a bit too much domestic trivia for me.
DI Spicer is married with a young baby in this book and there are ten pages too many about baby. I just finished chapter 10 and the reading so far is a struggle, not like the first two books in the series. Read Killing the Beasts then Shifting Skin. I might finish the review of Savage Moon by then.
The stories are set in Manchester and are interesting from that point. There are so many excellent books from England featuring a city other than London that the novelty wears off by the third book.
