Hardware costs money and hardware problems cost time. Use my experience and research to help you choose the best hardware. The hardware reviews are based on hands on experience with products purchased for regular use. I do not publish reviews based on the special samples provided by manufacturers unless specifically stated in the text, instead I wait to get the same product you will get if you buy the product.

As a separate service, I perform quality assurance testing for manufacturers. Send me a sample before you release your product in Australia. I will test everything from the packaging through the operating instructions to the batteries and other consumables. The test results are not published. You get a change to fix your product and make your product stand out from the crowd based on quality.

I am amazed at how many products still have packaging that turns customers away. Many faults are simple printing errors and omissions on the box. If the manufacturer had just sent one test box to Australia, they could have avoided a costly error that downgrades their product to the bottom of the price range, from a premium product to one that will sell at less than cost from a reject bin.
