Feng Office installation

Download Feng Office from sourceforge.net/projects/opengoo/files/. I used fengoffice_1.7.3.1.zip. The download is 8 MegaBytes and expands to over 3000 files in 600 directories occupying 30 MB on disk.

Set up an empty Web site. Expand the downloaded file. You receive a directory named feng_community. Copy the contents of feng_community into the public_html directory, or equivalent, of your Web site. Your public directory might be named htdocs or www.

Create a MySQL database for Feng Office. The easiest way is to use phpMyAdmin, select privileges, then create user, and tick the option to create a database with the same name and grant all privileges.
Database: feng_office
User: feng_office
Password: fnqtvfhyh77ert

You then visit the Web site in a browser and are automatically redirected to an install script where you enter the database information.

You then create an administrative user.
